You could look at it as an addition of work on your part or you can do like I do and look at it as a time to have some quiet reflection time of each principle and how you and/or your family practice that principle. <o:p></o:p></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt;">To me doing actions or volunteering in ways that express the day's Principle is tan important part of Chalica. But it is not the only way to celebrate Chalica.</span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt;">You can also give gifts that express the day's Principle - See each days for ideas. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt;">Or just talk about </span><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt;">the principle of the day</span><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt;"> with the people you are celebrating with each day. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt;"><o:p>Or you can read a story or a book about the principle of the day.</o:p></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt;"><o:p>Or sing a song that goes with </o:p></span><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt;">the principle of the day</span><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt;"><o:p>. </o:p></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt;"><o:p>Or watch a movies that goes with </o:p></span><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt;">the principle of the day.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt;">Or ?? </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt;">One young woman wrote that she and her sister like writing things they appreciate and putting them in a bowl and then one by one they pick out the papers and read them out loud. They then sing, dance and blow out the chalice.<o:p></o:p></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt;">So I urge you to join me in becoming </span><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt;">part of this living movement! </span><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt;"><o:p></o:p></span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt;">And let me know how you celebrate this new Tradition. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt;"><o:p>Thanks to Lisa Schwartz for the chalice lightings.</o:p></span></div>klinkzeitzhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09131362469955533788noreply@blogger.com0
